Copy of a marriage contract between Kulsum, daughter of Akhund Mulla Husayn, and Akhund Mulla Qasim, son of Karbalayi ʻAli Muhammad, with a mahr of 800 Nasiri rials, which includes: half a share of the twelve shares of Karizak farm, worth 40 tumans, part of a property in Nayshabur, worth 10 tumans, 16 tumans in cash for clothes, gold worth 8 tumans, six mans [each man is three kilograms] of copper worth six tumans.

Marriage and divorce contracts of Baygum Khanum, daughter of the late Aqa Taqi, and Murad ‘Ali, son of the late Kazim. The mahr includes one tuman and five thousand dinars, one-and-a-half misqals of golden jewelery, copperware, European chintz clothes, a set of bedding made in Qumshah, kilim and a felt rug, and one-sixth of the groom's residential building located in the Ustad Qasim the Carpenter neighborhood of Asfarjan village. Marriage and divorce contracts of Furugh-i Ruh Khanum and Mirza Taqi Khan, 1927
Marriage contract of Furugh-i Ruh Khanum, the daughter of Mirza Taqi Khan Mudabbir al-Sultan, and Aqa ‘Abbas‘ali, the son of Aqa Hasan Nazir, on October 28, 1927. The mahr is fifty tumans and a gold ring worth one tuman. The note on the margin, dated June 29, 1934, is the divorce settlement, according to which Furugh-i Ruh Khanum has settled on twenty five tumans, some textiles, a Qur’an, and the gold ring. Aqa ‘Ali Sultanzad guaranteed this payment.

Marriage and divorce contracts of Kuchak Jan Khanum and Murad, 1867 and 1879
Marriage and divorce contracts of Kuchak Jan Khanum, daughter of Ustad Qasim, and Murad, son of Kazim. The mahr was one tuman and five thousand dinars to buy one misqal [unit of weight] of gold, copperware, new clothes, bedding, kilim and felt, and some properties. On December 11, 1879, Kuchak Jan Khanum settled all of her mahr with her husband for one hundred dinars and one charik [unit of weight] of wheat in order to get a divorce. It was agreed that if the husband wanted to return, he had to add an extra ten tumans to the mahr.

Marriage and divorce contracts of Shahrbanu and Qasim, 1903
Marriage and divorce contracts of Shahrbanu, daughter of Mashhadi ‘Ali, and Qasim, son of Mashhadi Haydar. The mahr was thirty tumans to buy goldware, copperware, felt, bedding from Isfahan, a rug, silk and European chintz clothes, and some property. The groom settled with his mother over copperware, felt, beddings, set of European chintz clothes, and part of the property. Later, he settled a part of the mentioned items with his father. On January 9, 1905, Shahrbanu settled her mahr with Qasim for one hundred dinars and one charik [unit of weight] of wheat in order to get a divorce.

Marriage contract and divorce settlement, 1884 and 1888
One side is the marriage contract of Baygum Jan, daughter of Sayyid Husayn son of Sayyid Nasr Allah, and Muhammad Isma‘il, son of the late Muhammad Riza Da’i. The mahr is sixty tumans, of which the groom paid thirty tumans in women's clothing, rugs, gold, and copper worth five tumans. The other thirty tumans remain the groom's debt. The other side is the divorce settlement of Baygum Jan, daughter of Sayyid Husayn from Gazirgah, and Ismaʻil, son of the late Riza Mushki-baf from Gazirgah. Baygum Jan settled her mahr, alimony, and clothing for twenty-five dirams [dirhams] and two copper coins...

Marriage contract between Bibi Layla, the daughter of Karbalayi Sayyid ʻAbbas (son of Karbalayi Sayyid Maʻsum from Birjand), and Muhammad Husayn, son of Mulla Zayn al-ʻAbidin, on January 24, 1927. The mahr, which is 84 tumans and will remain the bridegroom's debt, includes: two shares of half of a day's use of the water from the qanat of Hasanabad farm for 32 tumans, half of a house in Arviz village for 6 tumans, kilims and felt for carpeting one room for four tumans, four women's dresses to buy and to make for five tumans, ten mans [each man equals three kilograms] of copper for six...

Marriage contract between Bibi Zahra Sultan Khanum, the daughter of Haj Mirza Habib, and Sayyid Hasan, the son of Haji Sayyid Husayn, dated November 19, 1921. The mahr includes parts of a property and some land in Ashkazar, a carpet, some clothing, a mirror, copper containers, a chest, a chador, and some red gold. The items listed in the mahr were valued at 100 tumans.

Marriage contract between Gawhar Khanum and Mirza Asad Allah, 1879
Marriage contract of Gawhar Khanum (daughter of ʻAliriza Mustawfi) with Mirza Asad Allah (son of Haji Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi) in May or June 1879. Mahr includes 100 tumans, a Qurʼan, gold (ten tumans), copper containers made in Kashan, a carpet, a qalamkar bed covering, a female Ethiopian slave (40 tumans), one third of an herb shop, part of a farm land near Savah and its water right, one sixth of a house in andaruni, and one sixth of a farm house originally belonged to the groom's father, who transfers it to Mirza Asad Allah to be included in his wife's Mahr.

Marriage contract between Hajiyah Jahan Sultan Khanum, the daughter of Haji Muhammad Husayn, the broker from Isfahan, and Haji Muhammad Baqir, the son of Aqa Muhammad Taqi Isfahani, dated August 25, 1908. The mahr is 300 tumans, including a Qurʼan, some gold, and part of a house.
